Most times I feel like I don’t really fit in. America is about spending the most money on the largest most extravagant item. Everybody is supposed to save up huge piles of money in order to drive it down to the most expensive car dealership and take home the shiniest, biggest car they have.
That’s not how I work. I look for value
When I first started looking for a vacuum I was nervous that I’d have to spend an arm and a leg for a machine that would get the job done right. Years of dealing with door-to-door salesman from companies like Kirby had made me believe that in order to keep a clean house you needed to spend a thousand dollars on a vacuum cleaner.
I just couldn’t do that.
And so it was with my own principles in place I went searching for a vac that could clean the way I needed it to but also wouldn’t break the bank. In other words I was on the lookout for value.
What I found was the Bissell 9595A and I couldn’t be happier.
The Bissell costs less than a hundred dollars. I think that’s important to mention before I start with all the cool features. I spend more at Starbucks every month than I did on the best vacuum I’ve ever owned.
What really made me fall in love with this vac are its lightweight and innovative design. Bissell actually made the vacuum for smaller women like myself and you can really tell by the way it handles. If you have trouble with bulkier and heftier machines then I recommend you give the 9595A a try and I’m sure you’ll be able to clean more than you ever could. The handle has different height adjustments for any size customer.
The Bissell did not sacrifice weight for performance however. A new cyclonic system means that I never have to go over the same spot twice. This saves me a bunch of time and is something I’d never be able to manage with my old machine.
The brushes on the 9595A have incredible suction for its size and really gets deep down into the dirtiest parts of my carpet. I’m used to having to move furniture over the worst parts of my carpet because I didn’t think there was any way that a vac would get all the crap up that was stuck in there.
The Bissell proved me wrong. Now I can arrange my apartment the way I truly want to.
The Turbo brush that comes with the vac is top-of-the-line and lets me clean behind dressers, underneath couches and even the top of shelves. I drive a minivan and it can be a pain to keep all of it clean so the brush and the upholstery tool the vac comes with is a huge bonus.
It’s the small things that make the Bissell great: the height adjusting handle, the superb edge pickup abilities, the huge tank that holds a boat load of dirt. All of these add up to the best Vacuum I’ve ever owned. And with the $75 price tag it has all the value I could want.
